Spring this year (2011) I bought a Plantronics Headset (903+) from MyTrendyPhone.dk.
That went fine, but about two months ago it broke (physically) for no apparent reason. I therefore returned it to MyTrendyPhone.dk to have it replaced under the guarantee, but they refused stating that "physical damage" is not covered by the guarantee". That is utter nonsense; if a product breaks physically due to a production weakness, then it is of course covered by the guarantee according to Danish legislation (both the shop and I as a customer are located in Denmark).
After this incident I contacted the Plantronics Denmark and they replaced the headset - so far so good. Then one would assume that MyTrendyPhone.dk would acknowledge their error and apologise and refund the shipping costs I wasted on their unjustified refusal to honour the guarantee - but no such luck: They simply continue to claim (in several emails) that "the guarantee does not cover physical damage" - and they even refuse to realise that Plantronics was of another opinion.
So my best advice is - even though I have shopped extensively at MyTrendyPhone.dk - do not shop there if there is even the remotest risk that you might want to utilise the guarantee. A pity as they have a large selection and are usually reasonably priced (though certainly not always cheapest)
